Genesis 1:21  So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good.

When Gary and I visit Gary's Mom in Superior we spend a great deal of time at Canal Park in Duluth. I can spend hours just walking the shore line, marveling over the vastness of Lake Superior, and of course feeding bread to the seagulls, which by the way Grandma Tribbey calls them "dirty birds" and you can guess as to why (I also here that their droppings take the paint off your car)! The last time we were up there it was a beautiful fall day and after making our regular stop to the Mountain Rocky Candy Store for my caramel apple fix, Gary, Grandma Tribbey, and Myself were just sitting on a bench watching a huge iron ore ship make its way into the harbor to fill up and return to the great waters again later that evening. It was very quiet, relaxing, and tranquil, sitting there eating those apples when all of a sudden Gary and I heard this splat followed by a yueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee coming from Grandma Tribbey, you guessed it, a big warm pile was laying nicely on Grandma Tribbey's neck. The saving grace in all of this was that she had just come from the beauty shop and her hair had been saved.

God made all living creatures and he said it was GOOD. The California gull was good to the Mormon Colony near the Great Salt Lake when the Gull devoured a locust swarm that threatened the settler's first crop. Why do you think God made US and said it was GOOD? Hm let's think about that.

By the way Grandma Tribbey loves me so I think she will take me back to Canal Park.

Hugs and Prayers,
