Holy Communion The invitation to Holy Communion comes from Jesus Christ.  Holy Communion at Burke Lutheran is open to all who desire it. You need not be a member of this congregation, nor a Lutheran, to participate. As an alternative to wine, we serve grape juice in the center ring of the tray. We also have Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Corn Free communion wafers for people who have allergies to the wheat communion bread that is served at communion. They will be on the alter away from the bread on communion Sundays. When Pastor Russ comes to serve the bread, feel free to ask him for a wafer, instead of the bread.

Opportunities abound with Burke’s music and drama ministry —
from our fun and energetic choir to helping lead worship or performing special music
to performing lively sketches. All musicians and actors are welcome!

Worship Leaders
Worship leaders lead the congregation in song, usually as a two-person team.

Adult Choir
Our adult choir is an integral part of worship. We usually sing one to three times per month
during the school year. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings.No musical experience necessary!

Children’s Choir
Children learn fun and meaningful songs during Sunday School, and get to perform
once per month at the beginning of the second service.

Drama Club
A creative way to serve while inspiring others in the Lord’s word.
We perform periodic sketches and musicals throughout the year.
