As you fill your own cart, please consider grabbing a few extra supplies.Bring them to Burke, place the goods in our grocery cart in the entryway. Cash donations also received.

It only takes about an hour to donate blood, and in that hour, you can give someone a gift that will be treasured for years.

Make sure to sign the donation book, wherever you donate, as a Burke Lutheran One-A-Week member.

The Red Barn in Sun Prairie

The Red Barn always welcomes new volunteers for Thursdays from 5-7:00pm every other week. We assist customers as well as sort, price and display incoming donations. Contact Kathy Lukens if interested in supporting this ministry.

Become a volunteer for The Road Home. We partner with Lakeview Lutheran to assist in the feeding and care of a few homeless families. These families are in the process of getting their own housing, but are in need of a place to stay.

Lakeview Lutheran houses these families, and we go there to feed them for 3 nights and help provide some time to talk, and play with the children. A very rewarding opportunity to help make a difference in someone's life...theirs, or yours.

You can sign up in the narthex or contact the Burke office at (608)244-8486 to help with the upcoming dates and shifts.

The shifts available for each day:
    Dinner shift (5pm - 7pm)
    Entertainment shift (6pm - 8pm)
    Overnight shift (8pm - 7am).

You only need to volunteer for one day/shift. Whatever time you have to help is appreciated.
