Hi,

I am Karen Tribbey, the Ministries Coordinator of Burke Lutheran Church. I have been a member of Burke since I was 6 months old, so I guess you could say I have a lot of history with Burke. My mother, Ruth Knutson, is also a longevity Burke member.

I have a wonderful husband Gary, three great daughters, three handsome sons-in-law, two adorable granddaughters and one cute grandson. Angie, Louis and baby Jordan live in Sun Prairie, Beth and Michael live in Sussex, Kristi, Todd and baby Izabella with big brother Zach live in Minnesota.

I graduated from the ELCA Lay School as a Congregationally Recognized Partner in Ministry, and have worked at Burke in this capacity since 2003.

In my position I have the opportunity of working with the Sunday School staff and children, visit with the Burke shut-ins in their homes, work with the Boards of the congregation, and assist Pastor Russ.

Words can’t express the feelings I have about being Burke’s Ministries Coordinator. I feel it an honor and privilege that God has led me to serve Him in this way; I have been truly blessed by God.
