New and Exciting Ladies Bible Study
Ladies do you ever question what is it about your life that matters?Join Karen for five weeks and we will find out together by studying the book “You Matter More Than You Think” by Dr. Leslie Parrott.Dr. Parrott states “A season of soul-searching walks along Discovery Beach in Seattle revealed a secret that far too many women never find. In this heartfelt book, Leslie Parrott reveals a personal message that is sure to keep you from looking at the pieces of your life as mere fragments scattered to and fro by any impulsive tide. On the contrary, you will soon see that the random fragments of your life—whether it’s doing laundry, dashing to the store, tending to either your kids or a full-time job (or both)—hold great potential for making a profound difference. You’re already making a difference, and the more you understand this difference, the bigger it will be.”The cost of the book is $9.25; sign up by March 21 by calling the office or signup sheet in the entry way of church.Time 7-8:15, dates Tuesdays April 6 & 20, May 4 & 18, June 1st
"See Through the Scriptures" Bible Seminar
Pastor
Russ has a goal. His goal is that EVERY adult member of our
congregation would have a basic understanding of the Bible. And so he’s
asking all of our adult members to attend a See Through the Scriptures
Bible seminar. He will be leading five of these seminars in the
upcoming year and is asking all of our adult members to attend one of
them. These fast-paced and fun seminars are a journey through
the Bible that traces key themes. The goal is to give you a clearer
understanding of what happened before Jesus, so that you can understand
how important and earth-shattering his ministry was. It will be offered twice as an all-day Saturday seminar, twice as an all-day weekday seminar, and once as an overnight retreat. The cost for materials is $15 (couples may share if they’d like) and $5 per person for lunch.
