Lay Minister
Burke Lutheran is excited to announce that we are seeking applicants for our Youth and Family Lay Minister position.
We are a growing congregation on the northeast side of Madison, WI, seeking an innovative and engaging individual ready to grow with us. This person needs to have experience working with youth ages 3-17, as well as with young adults and young families. Our Lay Minister will be involved in the many aspects of Christian Education that we already offer, and will be expected to widen our learning opportunities.
Along with education and youth development, our Lay Minister assists with worship and periodically responds to after hours emergencies. An ability to manage a flexible schedule is critical.
This is a full time, salaried position with employee health benefits. Further details are provided in the attached Position Description.

February Lock-In was Awesome!
Thanks to Kaylee and Amber for organizing our lock-in February 11-12. Yes, there were more Cheetos on the floor than on our faces. And we'll just forget about the bats we found at 2am. We had a great night and we can't wait to do it again.

Burke Youth Trip 2012:
Louisville, KY
July 8-14, 2012, we're taking our faith and our hands to serve our neighbors in Louisville, KY. Currently we are raising awareness, as well as funds for this adventure.
While in Louisville we'll be working and worshipping through Youthworks, a national youth service organization. On Friday, July 13, we're going to stop off in Chicago for a night of sight seeing and rest.
